Investments to Tangerang Regency is in an upward trend based on investment realization data published by the Investment and Downstream Industry Ministry/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) on Jan. 31, 2025, with the cumulative investment realization achieved by Tangerang Regency from January to December 2024 reaching rp26.2 trillion.

The Banten Province Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP) recorded investment to Banten rising by 7.71 percent year-on-year (yoy) to Rp105.62 trillion in 2024. The realized investment figure exceeded the Indonesian government's Rp97.79 trillion investment target for Banten by 107.98 percent.

Serang City, Banten Province seems to be starting to attract investors, including PT Jaya Dinasti Indonesia (JDI). The Banten Province Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP) recorded Banten's realized investments reaching Rp22.2 trillion in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2024, with realized domestic investments contributing Rp12.2 trillion or around 55 percent of the total while realized foreign investments accounted for Rp10 trillion or about 45 percent.

Annual realized investment in Banten Province reached Rp83.44 trillion from the first (Q1) to third quarter (Q3) of 2024.
