Maluku, Dutch Honorary Consulate discuss investment cooperation

Maluku Governor Hendrik Lewerissa received a visit from the Honorary Consulate of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ambon City at the meeting room of the Maluku Governor's Office on Mar. 14, 2025.
Present on that occasion were Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ambon Kun Kusno, Assistant to the Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ambon Priscillia Tuhuteru, the Indonesian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Spain and Portugal Secretary-General Nathaniel Lekatompessy, as well as Maluku Province Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) Head Anton Lailossa.
Lekatompessy said that Lewerissa sought investments to Maluku, but the governor also maintains that the most important factor is for those investments to be done in an ethical and responsible manner while utilizing various raw materials that could provide added value. Lekatompessy added that cooperation would be carried out in the fields of tourism, industry, logistics, and infrastructure that can be processed responsibly.
At the meeting, plaques and souvenirs were also presented between the Maluku Provincial Government and the Honorary Consulate of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Ambon.
