A plenary session commemorating the 57th anniversary of Bengkulu Province was held at the Bengkulu Legislative Council (DPRD) building on Nov. 18, 2025. In his remarks during the meeting, Bengkulu Governor Helmi Hasan stated that the Bengkulu Provincial Government is currently initiating a breakthrough in the development of the Bengkulu Province Industrial Estate by lobbying Home Affairs Minister Tito Karnavian and writing to President Prabowo Subianto.

The government has designated 50 new toll roads as part of National Strategic Projects (PSN), as stipulated in Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Regulation (Permenko) No. 16/2025 that was signed by Coordinating Economic Minister Airlangga Hartato on Sep. 4, 2025. The regulation is the eighth revision of Permenko No. 7/2021 on PSNs. One of the toll roads on the list is the Lubuk Linggau-Curup-Bengkulu Toll Road project, which will cross the provinces of South Sumatra and Bengkulu. 

The Bengkulu Provincial Government has promised that the gold mining investment planned for Seluma Regency will benefit the local community.

The Bengkulu Provincial Government held the Besurek Batik Carnival to enliven the 2025 Tabut Festival while introducing the region's original batik and preserving Bengkulu's cultural heritage.

Chinese energy giant Mingyang Smart Energy Group has officially partnered with the Bengkulu Provincial Government for an ambitious Wind Power Plant (WPP) development project worth Rp7 trillion. The memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the project was signed by the Bengkulu Provincial Government and Mingyang Group subsidiary PT Investasi Ming Yang on May 24, 2025.

The Bengkulu Provincial Government continues to encourage increased investment in its region through various strategic steps, such as through a cooperation offering meeting on May 8, 2025, at the Bengkulu Governor's Office in Bengkulu City, Bengkulu. The meeting was led directly by Bengkulu Deputy Governor Rosjonsyah Mian, who was accompanied by Bengkulu Provincial Government Regional Secretariat Assistant II R.A. Denny.

Bengkulu Governor Helmi Hasan explained that the Bengkulu Provincial Government has allocated Rp1 trillion for the complete revitalization of Baai Island Port.
