Bengkulu, Hello Green Nusantara works on sustainable investment project

Bengkulu Province is the focus of a sustainable investment project through a cooperation program with PT Hello Green Nusantara, which focuses on developing an environmentally friendly industry. The cooperation is expected to provide both short-term benefits and have a positive sustainable impact on long-term economic development, in accordance with its "Make a Future in Bengkulu," social media campaign hashtag.
"As I have promised, my team and I want to support the development of Bengkulu to become more advanced," said Hello Green Nusantara Chief Executive Officer Balazs Nemeth through a translator during the "Environmentally Friendly Industrial Development Investment Launch Gala Dinner" event at the Bengkulu governor's office in Bengkulu City, Bengkulu on Nov. 19, 2024.
Balazs, who is from Hungary, was present with his wife and two children, as well as several colleagues. At the same occasion, Acting Bengkulu Governor Rosjonsyah said the this cooperation was real evidence of a mutually beneficial partnership between the local government, businesses, and investors.
"Through close cooperation, we can create an ecosystem that supports sustainable economic growth," said Rosjonsyah in his speech.
He added that the Bengkulu Provincial Government is committed to ensuring that incoming investment is both economically profitable and has a positive social impact on the wider community, especially in creating jobs and improving the quality of life.
"I want to ensure that the region continues to be an attractive place for investment by improving legal certainty, ease of doing business, and transparency in every policy and program that we implement," Rosjonsyah said.
Meanwhile, PT Bengkulu Mandiri President Director Saud El Hujjaj conveyed that in addition to the investment agreement with PT Hello Green Nusantara, PT Bengkulu Mandiri has also obtained a permit to export palm shells and coal.
