The province's realized investment reached Rp 60.7 trillion in the same period, or 60 percent of its Rp 119 trillion annual target for 2025. He emphasized the crucial role of businesses in strengthening regional economic growth.

"Entrepreneurs are one of the pillars of regional success. Through this dialogue, I want to get input from the on-the-ground perspectives of business actors," stated Andra in Serang City, Banten on Sep. 20, 2025.

He added the Banten Regency Government needs advice, input, and even corrections from entrepreneurs so that economic policies could be implemented effectively.

"How can we strengthen and accelerate economic growth in Indonesia, especially in Banten Province?" Andra said.

He also emphasized the significant contribution of the private sector to development.

"The private sector plays a significant role in development," he stated firmly.

Apindo Head of Trade Anne Patricia Sutanto noted that the national economic growth rate of 5.12 percent in Q2 2025 exceeded expectations.

"It's not just about numbers; economic growth must also be distributed [evenly]," she said.

Anne mentioned Banten's enormous potential, with 80 percent of the regional gross domestic product (GDP) coming from the manufacturing sector, its non-oil and gas export contributions, the province's 17 large industrial estates, and Banten's 6.2 million workforce. However, she cautioned against challenges related to gas and electricity prices, logistics, and licensing.

Apindo Banten Regional Executive Board (DPD) Chair Tomi Rahmatullah highlighted road infrastructure and workforce quality as factors affecting business competitiveness.

"This event is a valuable opportunity to find solutions together," he added

Meanwhile, PT Paragon Technology and Innovation Executive Vice President and Chief Administration Officer A. Miftahudin assessed that close collaboration between the government and industry players could make Banten a leading manufacturing region at the national level.
