Industry Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita stated that the government will move import entry ports for several industrial commodities to eastern Indonesia. The three ports to be designated as such are Bitung Port in North Sulawesi Province, Kupang Port in East Nusa Tenggara Province, and Sorong Port in Southwest Papua Province.

This travel pattern is a follow-up to the webinar on the Potential and Strategy for Developing Catholic Pilgrimage Tourism in Flores, held on May 17, 2024, and the focus group discussion on July 5, 2024. The aim is to position Flores Island as a premier Catholic pilgrimage destination in Indonesia.

The Golo Koe Maria Assumpta Nusantara Festival in Labuan Bajo Subdistrict, Komodo District, West Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province will be held again in 2024. The religious festival will take place from Aug. 1 to 15 2024.
