IIF funds ANHE's construction of an 11 MW Mini Hydro Power Plant

PT Indonesia Infrastructure Finance (IIF) and PT ANHE Konstruksi Indonesia (ANHE) signed a cooperation agreement for the distribution of working capital financing worth US$ 12.2 million. The signing of the agreement was carried out by IIF Chief Investment Officer M. Ramadhan Harahap and ANHE President Director Zhou Yu Fei.

The working capital financing will be used for the construction of the Lao Biang 2 Mini Hydro Power Plant project with a capacity of 11 megawatt (MW) in Kandibata Village, Kabanjahe District, Karo Regency, North Sumatra Province and Kinepen Village, Munte District, Karo Regency.

The Lao Biang 2 Mini Hydro Power Plant project is part of efforts to increase the use of new and renewable energy (NRE) in Indonesia, especially in North Sumatra. This project is expected to provide great benefits to the surrounding community.

"We are committed to supporting the development of the Lao Biang 2 Mini Hydro Power Plant, which will not only increase the electricity supply in North Sumatra but also contribute to the government's efforts to achieve the 17 to 19 percent NRE mix target in 2025," said Idhan in his written statement on Mar. 22, 2025.
