Statistics Indonesia (BPS) Gorontalo Province's data released on several commodities exported from Gorontalo revealed that most of the province's products are exported through ports or airports outside it, such as the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (SHIA) in Jakarta Special Capital Region and the Port of Tanjung Perak in Surabaya City, East Java Province.

Gorontalo Province Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP) Head Sultan Kalupe stated that the most important factor in the economy is not consumption, but the multiplier effect resulting from investment activities. Therefore, Gorontalo's economic strategies and policies will be directed at increasing investment as an effort to drive long-term economic growth.

Realized investments to Gorontalo Province in the first quarter (Q1) of 2025 recorded encouraging performance in terms of both realized capital, employment, and contribution of local investors.
