Investments to West Nusa tenggara reached Rp54.55 trillion in 2024

The West Nusa Tenggara Province Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP) recorded realized investment to the province reaching Rp54.55 trilllion throughout 2024. DPMPTSP West Nusa Tenggara Wahyu Hidayat said the realized investment figure is 202 percent of the 26.9 percent annual target.
"The investment realization also exceeded the target of the West Nusa Tenggara Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD), which has a Rp25.4 trillion taget, by 214.7 percent. " said Wahyu Hidayat in Mataram, Wednesday.
Wahyu explained that investment realization throughout 2024 was dominated by domestic investment with Rp43.76 trillion, while foreign investment was recorded at Rp10.79 trillion.
The energy and mineral resources sector recorded the largest investment realization figure with Rp37.95 trillion, followed by the industrial manufacturing sector with Rp10.04 trillion, as well as the tourism and creative economy sector of Rp4.07 trillion.
Meanwhile, the sector with the lowest investment realization in West Nusa Tenggara was cooperatives at only Rp363 million, with the education sector as well as the environment and forestry sector being the next lowest with Rp950 million and Rp1.7 billion, respectively.
"The improvement in the investment climate can be shown by the increasing realization of bth foreign and domestic investment," concluded Wahyu.
