Pontianak City in West Kalimantan Province offers many interesting tourist attractions which are perfect for holiday visits with your friends and family. From parks and museums to traditional houses, there's something for everyone. Here are some top recommendations:

1. Kapuas Square Park
Located in Tengah Subdistrict, Pontianak Kota District, this park is ideal for relaxation and enjoying views of the Kapuas River, the longest river in Indonesia. Visitors can watch boats pass by and, as evening falls, enjoy the beautifully illuminated garden and sparkling fountain. Nearby, you can visit West Kalimantan's iconic Equator Monument and savor local culinary delights.

2. West Kalimantan Provincial Museum

The 138 meters long by 7 meters tall house, the largest traditional house in Indonesia according to the Tourism and Creative Economy Ministry, was inaugurated by the governor of West Kalimantan in 2013.

4. Pontianak Digulis Park
Found near the Digulis Monument in Bansir Laut Village, Southeast Pontianak District, the Pontianak Digulis Park is filled with trees and green plants, providing a serene environment. The park, which has been open since 1987, is popular for relaxation and exercise.

5. Mujahidin Grand Mosque
