The Papua Province Plantation and Livestock Office gave its appreciation to the Yoboi Village Sago Festival, which showcases the potential of the sago commodity in Papua. Papua Plantation and Livestock Office Head Matheus Philep Koibur stated in Sentani District, Jayapura Regency, Papua on Mar. 1, 2025, that the festival highlighted sago as a local food source, encouraged environmental conservation, and improved the local community's economic conditions.

Communications and Digital Minister Meutya Hafid ensured that the plan to create an artificial intelligence (AI) center in Papua can be realized through collaboration with global technology companies, following up the minister's direct meeting with Nvidia Chief Executive Officer Jansen Huang at the end of 2024.
