West Tanjung Jabung Regency opens Ramadan Sahur Parade Festival 2025

The 2025 Ramadan Sahur Parade Festival participants that showcases various traditional musical instruments is once again held by the West Tanjung Jabung Regency Government through its Youth and Sports Tourism Office as part of its efforts to sustain the suhoor tradition in Ramadan.

The opening of the event, which will be held every Saturday night and Sunday early morning during Ramadan, was attended by dozens of participants from representatives of mosque youth groups and communities, and was opened directly by West Tanjung Jabung Regent Anwar Sadat on Mar. 1, 2025 in West Tanjung Jabung Regency, Jambi Province.

The festival was most awaited by the people of the regency as it is their characteristic Ramadan tradition. It is also one of the  hundreds of events selected from all over Indonesia to be listed in the Tourism Ministry's Karisma Event Nusantara annual local event calendar.

"This activity is selected as a national event by the Tourism Ministry. Therefore, we collaborate with the Jambi Provincial Government so it can continue to be carried out well," Anwar revealed.

Anwar also gave his and the West Tanjung Jabung Regency Government's appreciation for the continued improvements of the the Regent and the Government appreciate the increasing development of the 2025 Ramadan Sahur Parade Festival.

"The innovations and creations carried out by young people are growing every year," said the regent.

Anwar regent also hopes that the festival could have a positive impact on the local tourism industry and benefit the economic conditions of the local community.

Also present at the 2025 Ramadhan Sahur Parade Festival opening were Assistant 1 to the Jambi Provincial Secretary, the West Tanjung Jabung Deputy Regent, other members of the West Tanjung Jabung Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), the West Tanjung Jabung Regional Secretary, heads of the West Tanjung Jabung Regency government apparatus, section heads in the West Tanjung Jabung Regency Regional Secretariat, as well as other invited guests.
