Rp500 billion to be invested for Lampung Wonderland

Bandar Lampung City, Lampung Province will soon have a new tourist destination, namely Lampung Wonderland. The amusement park, which will be built at Tirtayasa Road in Sukabumi District, is projected to become a tourism icon for the city. The project is being developed by PT Lampung Estate Utama with a total investment of Rp500 billion, with Rp200 billion to be allocated for its initial stage.

Lampung Wonderland will present various main facilities in the first phase of construction, which is secheduled to start in 2025, such as a food court containing both local and international cuisine and water rides that include a lazy river and wave pool. In addition, accommodation in the form of villas will be available for tourists who want to stay overnight.

Bandar Lampung City Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP) Head Muhtadi Arsyad Temenggung revealed that the developer for Lampung Wonderland is currently working to get permits for the water rides so that the construction process can continue immediately.

"We are committed to supporting and accelerating the realization of this investment so that it will immediately provide benefits to the regional economy," he stated on Feb. 1, 2025.

In the future, Lampung Wonderland will continue to be developed with the addition of various facilities, including play areas for children and families, hotels, and a ballroom with a capacity of thousands of people that can be used for various large events. The planned tourism ddestination is expected to attract tourists from within and outside the region. The project is also predicted to create new jobs in the construction, service, and hospitality sectors for the surrounding community.

With the aim of completing the first phase of Lampung Wonderland in the next few years, the government is optimistic that the project will soon be in a operation and become a source of pride for Bandar Lampung residents.

"This project is not just a tourist attraction, but also a long-term investment that will encourage the growth of various economic sectors in Bandar Lampung," concluded Muhtadi.
