PT SSP interested in oil and gas investment to Aceh

Aceh Oil and Gas Management Agency (BPMA) Head Nasri Djalal accompanied Aceh Deputy Governor Fadhlullah to attend a communication forum between the Aceh Provincial Government and Chinese investors, which was held by PT Global Investment and PT Gotion Indonesia Materials at the World Capital Tower Building in South Jakarta Administrative City, Jakarta Special Capital Region (DKI). The event was also attended by PT Star Shine Petrolium (SSP) and 16 other companies.
The forum aims to bring together the government, investors, and all stakeholders in a productive discussion. Aceh, with its abundant natural resources and strategic geographical location, is considered to have great potential in various sectors, such as energy, oil and gas, agriculture, fisheries, tourism, as well as the manufacturing and infrastructure industries.
Nasri gave his support to the Aceh Provincial Government's efforts to invite investors to invest in Aceh. He added that PT SSP expressed interest at the meeting in investing to Aceh at the Investment and Infrastructure Development Communication Forum held by PT Global Investment and PT Gotion Indonesia Materials.
"We invite PT SSP Investment Director Stefani Doesdjojo to come to Aceh to observe its oil and gas potential. PT SSP expressed interest in investing in Aceh, and stated that they plan to come to Aceh to see its oil and observe its oil and gas potential," said Nasri on Mar. 4, 2025.
As a strategic partner of the Aceh Provincial Government that is under a joint supervision between Aceh and the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry, BPMA stated it is ready to support the interests of oil and gas investment in Aceh.
During the Investment and Infrastructure Development Communication Forum, Aceh Deputy Governor Fadhlullah invited investors not to hesitate to come to Aceh. He emphasized the Aceh Provincial Government's commitment in creating a welcoming business and investment climate to encourage regional economic growth.
"The Aceh government continues to be committed to providing eased permitting, incentives for investors, and improving the quality of infrastructure that supports smooth running of business and investment," he added.
