Investments to Lampung reached Rp9.66 trillion in 2024

Investments to Lampung Province reached Rp9.66 trillion in 2024 according to Lampung Province Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP) data. Acting Statistics Indonesia (BPS) Lampung Province Head Agung Erianto Juliandono detailed based on the publication of Lampung Province in Numbers 2025 that domestic investment contributed nearly Rp7.22 trillion from 8,711 projects towards the overall investment value.

"For domestic investments, the trade, hotel, and restaurant sector is the most in demand by investors compared to other sectors with a total of 5,501 projects worth [nearly] Rp1.35 trillion, while the least is the forestry sector with only 12 projects worth Rp2.11 billion," he explained.

Agung also revealed that the value of foreign investments to Lampung in 2024 reached Rp2.44 trillion from 825 projects.

"foreign investment in the food industry sector is the most in demand by investors with a total of 223 projects worth Rp1.29 trillion, while the least is electricity, gas and clean water with only 13 projects worth Rp15.56 billion," he explained.

Bandar Lampung City is the center of the most investment, both foreign and domestic, in the province.

Agung elaborated that the number of workers employed by domestic investment projects in Lampung reached 28,242 people for 2024, which encompasses 28,240 Indonesian citizens and two foreign citizens. Meanwhile, the number of workers employed by foreign investment projects was 9,801 people, including 9,775 Indonesian citizens and 26 foreign citizens.
