Guyon Waton Closes BTV Semesta Berpesta Bogor

Guyon Waton, the Javanese dangdut koplo music group from Yogyakarta closed the BTV Semesta Berpesta music festival series held at Yon Bekang Cibinong Field in Bogor Regency, West Java Province on Aug. 24, 2024. Their performance spurred BTV Semesta Berpesta attendants to dance together.
The group, consisting of Faisal Bagus Ibrahim at vocals, Ahmad Arifin & Hieronimos Ferry Widiyatmoko with the guitars, Ndika Rismaya Pelma Arga with ukulele, Andreas Wahyu Susilo Jati with ketipung, and Yuli Hamdani with the bass opened their show with the song Korban Janji. The song was immediately greeted enthusiastically by the audience, who could not wait to dance.
"Good evening. I'm happy to be able to perform here because the energy is extraordinary. What song do you want to hear, just say it. For you to go home with a happy heart," Faisal said, opening his performance with enthusiasm.
Guyon Waton also took the opportunity to invite the audience who filled the Yon Bekang Cibinong field to rise from disappointment and not be depressed if their lovers left them.
"Remember, don't keep falling victim to promises. Let's move on and keep creating," he added, motivating the audience.
When the group pretended to end their performance, the audience shouted asking them to continue the show. Faisal teased them by saying, "If you want us to perform again, let's dance and sing together. Agreed?" which was immediately greeted with cheers from the audience.
In addition to performing their hits, Guyon Waton also performed a song by the late Didi Kempot entitled Pamer Bojo, which further enlivened the atmosphere and made the audience even more carried away in the ambyar atmosphere.
"You guys are amazing. Enjoy your Saturday night, all of you," Faisal concluded .
Guyon Waton's performance tonight was the perfect closing for the BTV Semesta Berpesta event in Bogor which combined music, culinary delights, and fashion.
