Central Kalimantan Educates on OSS-RBA to Boost Investments
August 5, 2024The Central Kalimantan Provincial Government, through the Central Kalimantan Province One-Stop Integrated Services and Investment Office (DPMPTSP) is optimizing the implementation of the Online Single Submission-Risk Based Approach (OSS-RBA), an electronically-integrated and risk-based business licensing system.
"Through an appropriate licensing process according to the level of risk, it will support the acceleration of business implementation and increase investment realization in Central Kalimantan," Economics, Finance, and Development Expert Staff to the Central Kalimantan Governor Yuas Elko said in Palangka Raya City, Central Kalimantan on July 25, 2024.
One of the efforts made by the Central Kalimantan Provincial Government to optimize the system is to carry out promotion and technical guidance on the implementation of risk-based business licensing in 2024.
"We hope that the participants, who consist of business actors, can understand each stage of the licensing process, from the requirements that must be met up to its implementation in the OSS-RBA system which is integrated with each ministry or institution," he said.
Yuas revealed that Central Kalimantan recorded its realized investments reaching Rp19.11 trillion, or 118.74 percent of the Rp16.09 trillion investment target set by the Investment Ministry/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM).
"The Investment Ministry/BKPM increased the Central Kalimantan's investment target for 2024 to Rp18.96 trillion. Achievement of the target would of course require support and cooperation from various related parties," he said.
Meanwhile, Central Kalimantan DPMPTSP Investment Promotion Division Head Eka Mulyaningrum stated that the implementation of the promotion of and technical guidance on the OSS-RBA system was done to increase the capacity of business actors on risk-based business licensing.
"So that in the end it will be able to accelerate business implementation and increase investment realization in Central Kalimantan," he said.
The OSS-RBA promotion and technical guidance activities were carried out on July 25-26, 2024. There were 70 business actors from various sectors in the Central Kalimantan region involved with them.
Speaking at the event were Central Kalimantan Province Environmental Office officials, Palangka Raya Public Works and Spatial Planning Office officials, Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (BPN)'s Palangka Raya Land Office officials, and Central Kalimantan DPMPTSP Help Desk (OSS) officials.
"Understanding of regulations is deemed necessary for the implementation risk-based business licensing to encourage legal certainty and fulfill business obligations," he said.
