In 2023, realized investment in Lampung Province reached Rp 10.9 trillion, comprising Rp 3.26 trillion in foreign investment and Rp 7.63 trillion in domestic investment. This achievement has provided employment for 3,182 Indonesian workers and 30 foreign workers, engaged in 372 foreign investment projects throughout the year.

With a population of approximately 1.166 million, Bandar Lampung recorded a Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) totaling Rp 43.89 billion in 2023. The processing industry contributed 18.53 percent to this figure, followed by transportation and warehousing at 16 percent, and wholesale and retail trade (including car and motorbike repairs) at 15.01 percent.
