Investments to Southeast Sulawesi reached Rp8.32 trillion as of September
December 26, 2024Realized investment to Southeast Sulawesi Province from January to September 2024 reached Rp8.32 trillion, or 37.81 percent of the target set by the central government. Southeast Sulawesi Regional Secretary Asrun Lio stated that the achievement was still within the realistic range of the Rp25.61 trillion realized investment target for 2024.
"The Rp3.61 trillion difference between the national and regional targets is still within a reasonable range," he explained.
Asrun said that the difference between the national and regional targets occurred because of different perspectives in setting targets. The regional development planning team has a specific understanding of local conditions, while the national team focuses more on a macro approach to achieve the Rp1.65 quadrillion national realized investment realization target.
Meanwhile, Southeast Sulawesi Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services Office (DPMPTSP) Investment Implementation Oversight and Information Division Head Rasiun said that 4,493 investment projects contributed to the province's realized investment from January to September 2024.
Of the 4,493 investment projects, 1,870 were foreign investment projects and 2,623 were domestic investment projects.
