Banner Parade for Pasuruan City Anniversary held on Feb. 8

The Banner Parade is an important ceremony that is routinely held as the main event of the Pasuruan City Anniversary, including its 339th edition on Feb. 8, 2025.
The parade was held from the Surga Surgi Pavilion to the Darmoyudo Arts Building in Pasuruan City, and was opened with the Terbang Bandung Dance.
The Banner Parade also consisted of a parade group from the Pasuruan City Government and the Pasuruan City Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda). They wore traditional East Javanese clothes, including batik jarik and udeng on their heads.
The Banner Parade procession ended with the handover of the banner by Pasuruan Mayor Adi Wibowo to Pasuruan City Regional Legislative Council (DPRD) Speaker Mokhamad Toyib, who then read the banner's content.
Pasuruan Mayor Adi Wibowo said that Pasuruan City had attained many achievements at the local and national levels in its 339th year.
"We must be more diligent together. The theme of this year's Pasuruan City Anniversary, namely 'Moving with Heart, Building a Sustainable Pasuruan City,' is our spirit and endeavor to continue to provide the best contribution to Pasuruan City," said Adi.
In the future, he added, there is still work that must be completed, especially the transition of leadership at the national and regional levels.
"Pasuruan City will not stop improving. With a sincere heart, we will continue to build this city to be better, more prosperous, and sustainable for the future," he concluded.
The day of the parade for the 339th Pasuruan City Anniversary was enlivened by Letto's Noe, who is famous for his song "Permintaan Hati.
