BI Succeeds in Holding FEKDI x KKI 2024

The 2024 Indonesian Digital Economy and Finance Festival (FEKDI) and Indonesian Creative Works (KKI), or FEKDI x KKI 2024, attended by around 17,261 visitors. Based on data for up to the third day of the exhibition, FEKDI x KKI has also succeeded in achieving gross revenue of Rp15.3 billion from offline sales and Rp83.9 billion from online sales.

"This year's achievement is higher than KKI's 2023 total gross revenue, when gross revenue from offline sales reached Rp18.8 billion and ones from online sales reached Rp72.4 billion," Bank Indonesia (BI) Communications Department Assistant Governor Erwin Haryono revealed on Aug. 5, 2024.

Additionally, KKI 2024 also recorded export business matching activities that reached Rp264.7 billion in total value, which consisted of export realization and the signing of business agreements. The gains from export business matching activities rose by 26 percent year-on-year (yoy) from the KKI 2023 level.

The export business matching activities brought together BI-assisted micro , small, and meduium enterprises as well as export-oriented ministries and state agencies with 22 potential buyers and export aggregators from 11 countries, namely Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, China, Egypt, Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates, Australia, Netherlands and France.

The dialogue and activation forum held during FEKDI x KKI 2024 from its first to the third day was also attended by 2,969 offline visitors and 24,874 online participants through various BI channels.

FEKDI x KKI 2024 is a forum resulting from BI's collaboration with the government, ministries, state agencies, industry associations, and business actors to strengthen inclusive and sustainable national digital economic and financial transformation. FEKDI x KKI is a manifestation of consistency, innovation and synergy of digital economic and financial development policies with efforts towards end-to-end development of MSMEs.

"BI's vision and mission in response to the challenges of the digital financial economy in the future are contained in the BSPI 2030," Erwin said.

Still in the series of closing ceremonies for FEKDI x KKI 2024, a performance of young creative works with the theme "Today's Literature" was held. This show is an opportunity to appreciate young talents through a competition featuring 30 ready-to-wear outfits created by 15 designers from vocational schools using traditional traditional arts from the regions where the participants come from.

mofd df,, appreciation was also given to the most innovative MSMEs and lifetime achievement awards to MSMEs with the largest sales turnover and who have become role models for MSME development since 2020.

On this occasion, BI also presented appreciation to the winners of the Bank Indonesia Hackathon and QRIS Jelajah Indonesia 2024.
