High pressure laminate (HPL) producer Aica Indonesia has launched nine new patterns in the AICA HPL Jcube 2024-2025 catalog, as well as rebranded packaging for its renowned Aica Aibon glue product.

The launch of the new Jcube catalog and Aica Aibon rebranding continues the presence of Aica Indonesia presence as a leading company in the domestic HPL industry.

Aica Indonesia managing director Dan Mashiki said the Aica Aibon rebranding was launched in the spirit of the company’s 50th anniversary to maintain its position as a pioneer in the industry.

"With the spirit of innovation and consistent quality improvement, we continue to strive to present products that meet market needs while maintaining consistent product quality based on our experience over the past 50 years," he said.

The legendary Aica Aibon, or yellow glue, is commonly used as an adhesive for HPL and decorative panels, as well as for items made from plywood, rubber, vinyl, leather and metal.

"We carried out this rebranding by changing the logo to better symbolize our new enthusiasm in facing our journey to the future after 50 years of operating in Indonesia. In addition, we also changed the Aica Aibon packaging design for better efficiency in the distribution process," Dan said.

Alongside the Aica Aibon rebranding, the company has released nine new HPL patterns, comprising eight patterns in the CERARL collection and one in the ToughTop collection.

The CERARL series is made from melamine resin and produced with a high-temperature, high-pressure press to create a strong, noncombustible product.

Aica Indonesia sales & marketing manager Kevin Octavius highlighted the popularity of the CERARL and ToughTop collections due to their strength and ease of installation, combined with the unique patterns offered in each collection.

The CERARL series of decorative panels are versatile and possess various advanced characteristics, including high heat resistance, water resistance, impact resistance and antibacterial properties.

The ToughTop interior top surface series offers an alternative to natural stone for surfaces such as tabletops, with their extra resistance to abrasion and scratching as well as lighter overall weight.
